Ancient Odyssey

Action RPG Game made in Unreal Engine ambiented in the Prehistoric age in which the protagonist has to find a way to get to an allied tribe after her village got attacked by an enemy tribe.​

During the trip, she will have to face numerous dangers among the mountains, included enemy tribes along the valleys.

GAME DESIGN

  • Designed and iterated on the Character, Camera and Controls

  • Designed and scripted the core enemy mechanics and behaviours in the Unreal Blueprint System

​​

  • Designed the inventory system and the pick-ups

​​

  • Created a missions flow to guarantee a game dynamic and fluid progression

​

  • Designed the combat system and encounters

NARRATIVE DESIGN

  • Wrote the main story outlines and characters backgrounds

​

  • Created and scripted the dialogue system and lore collectables

LEVEL DESIGN

  • Designed and greyblocked the map working as a semi-open world

​

  • Used landscape and foliage tools to create the environment
